Wondering about this adapter as a means to get 640x480 and 800x600 VGA signals off my Voodoo cards on to my HDMI screens. Anyone have any experience with this cheap adapter? I'm guessing the USB audio probably won't have Win98 support but I can pull analogue audio out separately and only need the video signal.

They do a more expensive one with RCA audio in but I'd rather not spend that much...

most cheap digitizers are shit, especially when dealing with resolutions that deviate from standard DTV or the most basic standards compliant 60Hz VESA modes

Also, USB audio might actually work on Windows 98SE and higher at least as class compliant USB audio is supported, with some caveats for which there are workarounds. Re: need temporary sound
