I purchased one of those Tualatin adapters from the Korean guy on eBay.
My processor is the Tualatin PIII 1.4GHz 1.45V.
I soldered the adapter to my processor and tested it in my non-Tualatin Gigabyte socket 370 board.
The processor seems to work fine.
Next I tested the processor in my Asus P3B-F ver 1.4 but I found that it POSTS and then a few seconds later the display turns off and the LED on the display turns orange. (Ie. no signal)
I just have a generic S370 slotket.
Could that be the cause of the issue?
I’ve set the multipler to 6.5 and the bus to 133 on the dip switches.
Has anyone got this adapter working with their Asus P3B-F?
Are there specific dip switch settings and/or BIOS settings that need to be configured?
I have programmed the modified BIOS to the Asus board with support for Tualatin microcode.
