I've been debating hunting down other modules and wavetable cards but the cost is holding me back I wouldn't even have the ra-30 if I hadn't found it for less than forty US dollars. I have been experimenting with various soundfonts on my sound blaster 32 loaded with the max ram but of course it doesn't help under DOS. I do have a Yamaha ymf744 card so I can experiment with yamaha XG midi but I'd need to move it from my athlon xp system 🤔

I took a quick look at the schematics and they seem to very closely match my Roland EM-10 keyboard. Is it possible for you to dump the ROM's?

The RA-30 and EM-10 likely share the same (SC-50) Wave ROM, and both seem to use the SC-55 audio stages.

Not even sure how I'd go about dumping the room short of removing them from the board and sticking them in my programmer. Not a task I'm comfortable enough to try.

Maybe what "I" did, moving the CPU from the SCC-1A to a sc-55, could work. I did let someone god at soldering do the moving part though.
