Kingdom Come Deliverance II
I am now 38 hours in and I finally was reunited with Mutt! I could have gotten him much sooner, but the natural flow of events for my play-through dictated waiting a bit.

I do love the pacing of this game. I have been working on the main quest, but whenever I happen to be near a side quest, I will check it out and usually work on it, if not complete it. The freedom this game offers is unparalleled. Do whatever you want at your own pace. I'm slowly building up Henry's stats and skills naturally through exploration, combat, quests, books and training. There are certain people who train skills and you can get a small bump in that skill for some coin. Also, skill books can be found or purchased that that give a bigger bump in that skill. In order to read a skill book, you must be seated and with good lighting. A comfortable bed will let you read faster. Time actually passes, usually 2-4 hours of game time, so I've taken to saving my skill books to read right before bedtime. Then the next time I'm near a scribe's shop, I can sell them to get some of the money back.
During the Invaders! quest, I found what I think? is a bug, but a little googling found the solution. Without spoilers, there is a night of heavy drinking with some Cumans after which you wake up with everything you had equipped missing. It is not addressed at all in the quest or through conversation with the people involved in the quest. There appears to be a couple of ways of getting your items back, but they don't involve asking for them back, or some such. After doing a mundane task, they just appear back in your inventory. You do have to re-equip it all.
Now that Mutt is back at my side, I will have to retread my steps throughout the game, as one of his skills that I trained him for is "Seek". He finds nearby secrets throughout the game, sniffs them out, and barks when he gets near them. These are usually areas of interest or hidden treasures. For example, someone may have put some coin in a clay pot and buried it in the mud near a fishing spot. The odds of finding it on your own by accident are slim, but not impossible, but with Mutt's help, it's much easier.
