I am anything but computer savy so I apologize for some of the questions. THanks in advance for the help.

I have a Dell Optiplex GX 270. I have managed to get DOS 6.22 on it with the extra disk of files, the mouse and the cd rom drivers to work. I can't get the sound. I have a Soundblaster CT 4780 card. I've tried the livedos.zip files from a few sites with no luck at all. It says run liveset.bat but nothing but errors. I disabled the onboard sound on the machine, thought that might help. THere was a blue cable going from the cd rom to the motherboard (I assume a sound cable?) I moved it so it now goes from the cd rom to the CD-in port on the sound card. THat is about as far as I am. Any info you need for my setup that I did not include I would be glad to give. I just don't know what driver to use or how to get the sound.

Plan is to make a separate partition for Windows 98 after which I can do and have all the drivers for that. If it would be easier to find the sound drivers for the windows 98 dos, I'd be totally fine with that. Don't know which ones to use for that application either. Stuck on the sound portion in either case.
