Hello and good evening everybody.
I have this mainboard:

I turned it on an hour ago. I got a CMOS error. I then replaced the battery with a new CR 2032. Now the PC boots without a CMOS error. But the following happens: I can get into the BIOS by pressing the Delete key, but the cursor keys are disabled. It doesn't matter whether I connect the USB keyboard via a PS/2 adapter or directly to the USB 1.1 port. A different keyboard doesn't help either. If I boot without going into the BIOS, the Win98 menu 1 to 8 appears and I can't move the cursor keys there. I just press F5 and then it crashes. The board is in an ATX big tower. I always turn off the power strip overnight. Could some kind of short circuit have caused the board to ignore the cursor keys on the keyboard? I've also tried CLEAR CMOS several times with a jumper, but that doesn't help. I'm desperate because I've already purchased many components compatible with the QDI:
1. V3-2k
2. AWE64
3. GUS Pico 2.0
4. 80 IDE HDD
