No need to be sorry, everything's fine 😀

dir*exe

That's why i said you should read. The exact commands are important:

dir *.exe

(note the space and the dot).

You have too many things mounted, and it is mounted wrong.

Do this (and only type the things that is written in bold, dark letters):

?:\>Z
Z:\>mount -u C
Z:\>mount -u D

This got rid of your old and wrong mountings of C and D. Now we do the correct mounting of C:

Z:\>mount C D:\
Z:\>C:

And now we C(hange) to the D(irectory) where your CM2 game is:

C:\>cd CM2
C:\>dir *.exe
C:\>dir *.bat
C:\>CM2

I'll work with you.

Still having the (seemingly) classic problem.

I can run the go.exe file, but not the CM2.exe.

Can anybody help me with this "Stack fault". I have installed the game with the orig CD. It tries to load with the command:-

mount D D:\ -t cdrom -label CM2_96_97

I have tried different cycles setting:-

cycles 6000, 20000, 30000
cycles fixed 6000, 20000, 3000.

I still get getting this stack fault, any ideas.
