Code creature summary: even with an overpowered video card the maximum difference between the single channel socket 754 and the dual channel socket 939 is 5.9%, far below the 9.4% suggested by the PR of these processors.
Also despite being a Directx8 benchmark and using a radeon x1950 pro at 1600*1200 all 4 systems perform within 2% of each other! So a true directx8 card - such as geforce4 ti4600 - would give you horrendous performance; and it's 100% true - for high performance in Directx8 games you need a good Directx9 card; for high performance in DirectX7 games you need a good directX8 card and so on.
9. We switch to Aquamark3, the first DirectX9 benchmark to ever be released and start at default settings: 1024*768, AF 4X, no AA, no Sound:
A. KU8
B. KV8 PRO
C. UL8
D. AV8
AV8 leads the pack even if by the tiniest of margins - the same happened with the code creatures results!
