I have two (cheap) socket 370 -> slot 1 slotkets which both have retaining arms raised above the level of the socket, and are fouling pretty much any heatsink I put on top. Is there a heatsink narrow enough to fit? Thanks!
The highest-clocked Pentium 3-S draws a maximum of 35 watts.
That’s why heat pipe coolers hadn’t been invented yet.
Back then, they often used coolers like these, but they haven’t been made for ages.

Would think most 50x50mm models should fit (not the best for cooling but readily avalable). For anything better / larger (60mm +) you'd need a model with a raised or shaped baseplate (improved cooling but much harder to source nowadays)...
I like to use the Startech socket 370 copper heatsink on these slotkets. I don't know if it's still available (2-3 years ago it was, on Amazon). Really effective although kind of noisy.
