I’ve been shrinking all my commonly used PCs in an effort to clear up room on my desk. Put this together together to replace my windows 98/95/dos support machine. Mini itx(ish) proprietary mobo from a Honeywell dvr, 512gb sdram, Tualatin celeron 1.2 ghz, floppy, gotek, slot load dvd rw, 2 cf to ide adapters, Sd to ide adapter, startech usb 2.0 pci card, ati rage xl pci, all in a 8”x8”x8” package. A work in progress, to do list includes: making front, side, rear panels, add a couple small fans, mount power and reset buttons and front USB’s in front panel, add floppy switch mounted in f panel to choose between drives as I discovered that this board only supports a single floppy. Happy with the build so far. Not a gaming pc, wanted usb 2.0 and rage xl supports 720 p wide screen as this pc is used with a widescreen monitor and I can’t stand the black bars. Onboard ac97 for sound.
