I'm trying to get Skyrealms of Jorune - Alien Logic (v.1.0) to run, but i'm always getting an error stating "Exit to error: CPU:GRP5 Illegal Call 7". Well, the game intro screen shows, then the error pops up. I'm currently using DosBox 0.63.
I read the forums a bit, but i found nothing about this game, and the advice for other people who got this error in other games was just to wait for another release of DosBox. However, i managed to make the game run once and played it for a while until it crashed, but later when i tried running the game again it just wouldn´t work and i can't remember what i did to make it run.
There are two .nfo files who came with the .zip file, seen here:

This was a lil' bit tricky, so here is how you should, at least, to get
this game to work:1) Install the game (I did it to D:\ALIEN)
2) Edit D:\ALIEN\INSTALL.DAT and/or INSTALL1.DAT
Change F to your liking.. My CD-Rom is I, so I changed it to J.
3) Boot to dos (note: NO Qemm!)
4) Run 'subst j: d:\' <-- Note d:\, not d:\alien !
5) Insert a music CD and run the game from D:\ALIEN with ALIEN.EXE
(forget the stupid batch file)

Packager: Someone.
TITLE : Alien Logic: A Skyrealms of Jorune Roleplaying AdventureThis game needs 6 Megs of XMS, 588K Base Mem, MSCDEX Loaded, and your
favorite music CD to Run..Basically all you need to do is make sure MSCDEX is loaded Un-Arj
to a root dir on eithere C or D subst F for one of these and assure
that you have a Music cd in your CD-ROM.. The case may vary.. I.E.
If you have a CD-ROM Labeled D then Subst for E If you have A cdrom
as F Subst for G and so on.. Not to difficult to figure out.I tested this with my system Configure as Followed:
D Drive was location of Alien Dir (The CD Data Files)
E Drive is the Actual CD-ROM with My Queensryche CD
I My D drive For F: and the Game Works fine.Nice of SSI (Mindscape) to let us play our own CD's in this Great title..
Here are the contents of the Start.bat file mentioned in the INFO.NFO

REM This one is a hog. You need 6 Megs Free XMS and 588k Base to run it.

ECHO THE DRIVER.
UNIVBE
ALIEN
The game is installed in C:\Alien and my Cdrom drive letter is D:\. When it first worked, i'm pretty sure the dosbox.conf was completely unchanged. Now it kind of seems random wether the game accepts my music CD as the real thing, and when it does it displays the error mentioned above.
I have changed the letter in Install.dat and Install1.dat to e, and when i try running the game i usually do this:
Run DosBox
Mount c c:\
c:
cd alien
subst e: c:
univbe
alien.exe
I've also tried just mounting c:\ and running the .bat file, but it doesn't yield any better results.
I hope i haven't just written a lengthy post filled with useless info :/
P.S. Please excuse any grammatical/spelling errors, english is not my native language.
P.P.S. Kudos to the creators of DosBox, finally i can run Darklands and MoM :)
