Unzip the ZIP file in Windows and dump its contents in the Fallout folder, then open DOSBox and navigate to the Fallout directory and run the patch installer from there.

And the patch produces a Windows executable file so how's that going to work in DB?

I tried that but DB didnt recognize the file but I'll try again.......

Download the patch for the DOS version. Click here.
It will contain a PATCH.TXT document. Read it.

You do that part with Windows. Then place the files it produced in your fallout directory.

TY!!! I unzipped the download into a separate file then copied & pasted it into the FO DOS & ran it & it's now v1.1
