Also is an ati rage pro 8mb integrated comparable to a voodoo card?
Also I normally wouldn't go with a kinda no name sound card I mean the build HAD a sound blaster freaking pro! But sadly, some one probably fired it before I got it or something because when I got it it no longer worked 🙁

Iirc the rage pro is below the V3 in performance, perhaps even below a V2?

You can use 98 if you want (personally I'd stay away from 98FE).
If you go the 98SE route, theres HEAPS of tweaks, mods and patches available to you!

Edit:For comparing graphics chips, I often use this site:
http://www.pc-erfahrung.de/grafikkarte/vga-gr … krangliste.html
I like it as it lists a LOT of graphics chips, all the way from Rendition 1000 to what is available today 😉

It's up to what you want, dosquest 😉

You could of course install both (1st 95, then 98SE) as a dual boot so you can check yourself which one you like more 😉

Or you could lead a normal life in the time you save when using win98se - and be done with it.

You can always make a floppy disk set and span an archive over multiple floppy disks.

How do I do that?

I suppose you don't have any other means? Another way would be to have a dedicated harddisk with all the files you need and slave it in your main rig.
Another option could be to slave the system disk in another rig and copy the files to your system disk directly.

I'll try to salve the main disk.

More practical: Do what Tetrium says with a CF Card in a IDE to CF adapter. Once you have it working, you may as well drop the HDD.

Hey, I found another sb card just now 😁 I'll see what kind it is.

Doom isn't just a game, it's an apocalypse survival simulator.
