Hi guys,
I'm trying to play the ever so nostalgic Air Power simulator (Mindscape, 1995), but I just can't get it to run...
The best I could master was seeing the Mindscape logo, and then crash back to dos with error 55 (which is an internal error code, so it doesn't really help).

Anyone has any solution? Is there anyone here who could make the game work?

I have 2 versions of the game:
1) "original" version in 6 ZIP files, each one is a floppy
2) pre-installed game, with all the files already extracted from the floppies.

When I try to install the game from the floppies, the installer keeps telling me to insert floppy #1 (which is absurg, because INSTALL.EXE is on floppy #1), and none of the 6 floppies makes the installer happy...

When I try to run the pre-installed version, I get the following mesage:
ERROR: LIB LOAD 55 0Last file access:libs640.400\SGA_BITZ.bin

Note that I have ran SVGAVESA.EXE to install the vesa driver, and it's test was ok.

🤣, I don't have a floppy drive for years now...

And what do you mean abandonware? I thought this WAS abandonware. 😕
