Im using a Voodoo Banhee AGP with my PC Chips M577 VIA MVP3 motherboard, the performance is as exptected, no wierd glitches.
With my Gigabyte GA5-AX running a K6-3+ I tried to use a PCI Voodoo III but the performance wasnt what it should have been which was very irratating as I had benched every imaginable Slot-1 CPU at every possible speed setting with the Voodoo III and I was going to do a comparison. A Geforce III Ti500 worked fine with the GA-5AX even if it limited the max overclock somewhat because of its huge power draw. A Geforce 2 MX400 also worked well and seemed like a good match, the FPS was fine at 1280*1024 in Quake III.
This was the result with the Geforce III Ti500 at 5x120 MHz with the L3 cache deactivated. With the Geforce 2 MX I could run the same speed setting with the L3 cache activated and if I remember right the FPS was a little bit better but I cant find the screenshots from the runs with the Geforce 2 MX, they are probably still on the HDD I used when benching.
