One of the things that I've been meaning to do is find a way to store my loose long sound and video cards, basically anything longer than 8.25". For anything shorter, I use clear video game box protectors (Atari 2600 and Intellivision gatefold size). But I'm starting to accumulate a lot of longer cards. Yesterday, I found these cheapo gift boxes at Dollar Tree. They come three for a dollar. While a little wide, their length and depth are just about perfect for my long cards.
So, I printed off some mailing labels with logos and descriptions and affixed them to the boxes. The cards go in an anti-static bag and then into the box. There's room for 3.5" disks too. I have to say I'm liking this system so far. (By the way, it is really hard to find an old school STB Systems logo on the Internet.)
