This is DVI-D single link (dual link didn't exist back then). GF256 doesn't support dual head, so there is no reason to use DVI-I... you can connect either VGA or DVI-D, but not both at the same time. DVI->HDMI should work, in theory at least. There might be some compatibility issues, this is one of the first videocards to support DVI. Also the resolution might be pretty limited, 1024x768 and 1280x1024 should be fine, 1600x1200 might work, anything higher definitely won't and I wouldn't count on widescreen either.
