Hi, I'm having trouble loading up PowerDoLLs 2 on a p4 @ 2.9 with 1 GB memory, on Dosbox 0.6.3. I can't get past the splash screen.

The error message I get is CPU:GRP 5 Illegal call 7 while I try to run the game while the CPU is in any mode but dynamic. When I set it to dynamic the error message is Illegal option instead.

Messing around with memory/audio/cycles doesn't seem to yield results. I've noticed that there have been other games with this same error message, and I've tried their solutions as well, but none of them seem directly addressing this particular error. Any help?

I think this is fixed in the CVS (see the dev forum).

Which version? I just tried using the ones offered over at that german webpage, same results.

Hm, try to mount some directory as a cdrom (see the readme),
i think this was needed for this game additionally.

I'm now using the 200/11/15 CVS from ykhwong. When set to dynamic, once again, it returns an invalid option. When set to any other mode, the error message returns the same, Illegal call 7.

Could you elaborate on mounting "some folder" as a cd-rom? I know how to do it, but I'm not quite sure what difference that'd make.

Aha! Got it working. You were absolutely correct. I loaded up the game directory as a CD-rom and it ran past the crash-point.
