Howdy all. Finally got my Video card today in the mail from eBay. Ive been waiting for it for what seems like forever, to test this 486 board I got out.
Well, when I boot the system, The monitor seems to detect signal, but all I can see is some faint waves lines. (it almost looks like a sync type of issue, but I dunno)
I have another board that has ISA, but no memory for that one so can't try this card in that system.
The system powers on, PSU runs, I can reset with the switch, just.. thats it.
Trying to figure out some ways to test to see if its this motherboard, or the video card. Any ideas and tips would be great.
Using an ALI 486 board. As far as I can tell, jumpers seem to be set correct.
