Im using dosbox 0.65 to run Gods 1.0
Whenever i try to run gods.exe i get a error:
"Error in config file - run INSTALL to configure GODS"

in install.exe i have..
Resolution: Colour vga (theres also ega and tandy colour)
Sound: PC internal speaker
Control: Keyboard
Install Path: C:\GODS

op system = windows 2000

any help?

Yes, edit INI file manually. For sound, you can replace the speaker line with Sound Blaster or Roland.

It's already set for Sound Blaster. Try changing IRQ and using low cycles.

So you start the game from C:\GODS?
Is the gods.ini file there, and not readable/hidden or something?

It works perfectly fine for me using DOSBox 0.65

Check what WD said...

Normal Core and 10.000 cycles. SB voices in intro + Music. Rest of the game is AdLib sound effects only.
