This arrived today for tinkering with old systems. Came across it looking for SD to IDE adapters and thought it'd be more useful. It only reads ONE card at a time (can't put CF + SD in together), but having both in a single 3.5" drive bay seemed like a good deal!

Not sure on read/write speeds yet; the chip is made by OnSpec so I don't know if it'll have the 25 MB/sec limit the JMicron ones do...?

Got my V6800 DDR/64M in the mail yesterday as well. Definitely brand new. The smell of new retro computer hardware is great!

One game and some hardware.... 45 Danish Kroners in total (That is 6,70 USD or 6 Euro)

I bought the Mario kart bundle (complete in box with game and wheel), then a second wheel and finally (not in photo) I bought an Wii-HDMI adaptor/converter.

Bought this IBM PC 300PL featuring the infamous capacitor plague (and a broken battery clip).
For some reason I thought Big Blue was better than this and only used quality parts.
It has the crappy Chhsi e-cap the Wikipedia article mentions. I'm honestly surprised.

Wii is still an amazing console. I don't own any other consoles, while Wii is still completely set up in my livingroom ready to play on one button press.
I have all accessories one could think of and of course it's softmodded, playing total of ~22 different console games. 😀

I love it!

Spotted this one, put in a low offer and to my surprise I got it 😀

Comes with a docking station (serial+parallel) and a sleeve/bag.

Keys are really really tiny!

I hope it works, need to find an adapter. Should not be to hard, 15V center positive barrel.

Does anybody know if there is a RTC/CMOS battery inside that might leak?

The Amiga came today.. just waiting on my power supply, video cable, and external floppy adapter to convert to an external Gotek for the boot drive. 😀

Not gonna lie, I really dig the dust cover. Is it a thick plastic or some sort of faux/real leather?

I also finally won an auction for an Amiga 1200 last night. Aside from ordering an RGB SCART cable I think it has everything I need to get started. I'll report more when it arrives. In the interim, I'm going to peruse the previous Amiga threads for valuable information. Maybe it's worth starting a newer Amiga mega-thread, maybe not.

I spend my days fighting with clunky software so I can afford to spend my evenings fighting with clunky hardware.

It's a PU leather, aka fake. It is just like any other cheap 80's/90's era dust cover. Very durable. I didn't know the auction was coming with it or the manual since it stated "computer only", so it was a nice surprise. I also opened up the trap door and there's a RTC and RAM upgrade card, although I need to remove the corroded battery this weekend.

Just won this auction. At the moment I see only 1 interesting card here. Its the Acculogic RAMpAT!

https://stason.org/TULARC/pc/memory-cards/ACC … AMPAT-PLUS.html

It support 4x4 MB Simms so you have 16 MB EMS/XMS in your 286 with a single card..! 😀 Drivers are also still available...

Imi, you have to revise your maximum bids. Look at the auction again. The 2nd high bidder - "8***8(10227)" - is a recycling company...! I know this because he always buys the remaining parts I sell again.
So if I wouldnt have bought this lot it would be most likely scraped today 😉

that's sad 🙁
I just can't bring myself to bid more on the scrap lots unless I spot several things I really like... that's why I don't like the awfully large scrap lots because they often end up in 3-digit territory.
I got burnt several times already and I'm not reselling leftovers, so I have to be more selective unfortunately.
also recently I have spent quite a lot on specific cards so that took up all of my budget anyways.

I have quite a few things waiting for me though when I get home again next week :3

I am assuming you got a mouse with the thing correct?

My first Amiga was an A500 with 512K trapdoor RAM/RTC, an external Amiga 1011 floppy drive plus a Workbench 1.3 disk allowing me to use Amiga Explorer to make working game disks using a PC and serial cable. Fun little gaming machine that started me collecting other Amigas since. Kind of a shame prices started to skyrocket after I got into them but I was lucky enough to snag 70+ classic Amiga boxed games for a couple bucks each back in the very early 2000's when they were being dumped.
