I'm building a system based on Sergey Kiselev's micro 8088 board. Currently I'm using whatever parts I have lying around for testing, but I intend on getting a nice case & power supply for this system.
I was wondering what kind of power draw I'll have and whether or not 80 watts would be enough, since I'm leaning towards using an 80 watt PicoPSU (https://www.mini-box.com/picoPSU-80) to ease cable management.
The system will have the following cards/peripherals:
- Sergey's 8-bit ISA backplane
- Micro 8088 board with Fujitsu 8088-1
- XT-CF-Lite
- Sergey's 8-bit floppy/serial card
- Sergey's 8-bit Trident SVGA card
- Allied Telesys AT2000 ethernet card (if it works on an XT, otherwise I'll go without ethernet)
- Aztech Sound Galaxy BXII sound card
- Serial mouse
- 360k floppy drive
