Well, neither of these are 'retro' hardware but they are for retro computers.

First is an HDMI Upscaler for my Amiga 500; this is a limited run project we collaborated on with the Turkish Commodore/Amiga scene, and the end result is simply fantastic. I will post photos and videos of it in action soon. It uses an Altera FPGA card and a custom built PCB and Firmware.

The second is a 3D printing of the 3.5" floppy drive mounting cage that was missing in my IBM PS/1. Many many thanks go to Deksor on this forum for generously providing me with photos and measurements of his own cage so that this could be possible. I will make the STL available once I test mount it..

Locks nice but I noticed the screen is locked. Is this because the Selecta Dock key is locked ?

This might help http://www.os2museum.com/wp/cracking-a-thinkpad-755c/

That upscaler sir.... That is fantastic. Is Retrocengo perhaps involved in some way?
I am really looking forward to hearing more about it. How well does it perform and what might the end price be, if it goes on sale somewere?

Nice and clean SX-20 overdrive.

Why did Intel call that one an Overdrive? 🤣

SX-20 to DX2-40 was still a nice boost.

No, there was no Retrocengo contribution it is 100% local made here in Turkey.

I haven't had time to make a video but here is the main designer/developer's own Youtube playlist of the design, production and test processes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dx2-8C8H6DU&l … p2Mr_0LTEZYQENn

Ahhh.... I just know he has some ties to the community in Turkey in some way.
That is amazing footage. Crisp, clear and smooth scrolling. Love it.
I would love to have one. Such a great device.

Even the name suggests this is a clone of Thorsten Schubert's "D520 HDMI Converter".

I don't have any amigas (yet :p), but wasn't "520" the original name for the genuine commodore amiga-TV adapter?

Yes, but still having that also in the name, doing and working exactly the same, and also FPGA-based are a few coincidences to much for me.

Luckily all from US/Canada sellers, so shipping will be fast..

Commodore tank mouse for my Amiga 500. Appears to be in great shape, so it will pair well with the Amiga 500 and 1084S-D2 I have that are also minimally yellowed. Yay no retr0briting.

No, the name is derived fromt he A520 RF modulator. It's very different. Watch the videos for good measure.

This came in the mail today. Clips onto the metal shield around the Vic-II in a Commodore64.

I also happen to have one of these cards (Zoltrix Audio Plus 6400 3D PnP V.5 AV310 - quite a mouthful indeed), but I never thought much of it because its OPL3 Synth is considered to be particularly subpar. I should certainly try it out sometime!

I take that back, the CMI FM Synth is PRETTY cloes to OPL3!

Quite amazing to be honest.

Sold a couple of VIC-II's (8565-R2) and bought a complete set of rounded sockets for my SixtyClone 250466 project.

Next scrap pile 😁 Made the seller an offer which he declined. At the end I got it cheaper than that....

Really difficult to spot the usable parts in it....most important task will be to get rid of all the remaining junk again when I get it 😉
