Just like to share I got my Vermont Microsystems IM-1024 PGC-clone to display a picture, but I am afraid to get more out of it I need some software or documentation.

Its this card:

I was able to connect to my DELL LCD without any adapter. Just connected 4 wires: RGB and composite sync to VGA-PIN13.

To lazy for GND which may explain the bad image quality I got 😀 But I am happy it displays anything at all without converters or adapters.
Resolution is always 1024x768 @ 60Hz.

Also happy it displays the BIOS screen, was not sure if this card works as a secondary adapter only.

CGA emulation also works.

With the PGCBMP.EXE programm I only get a purple screen but no picture is displayed.

There seems to be a Windows 1.0 driver around but its use is quite limited...

So if anybody owns a driver disk or a manual I would be very happy to get a copy...

As far as drivers go, there are of course the Windows 1.x drivers you found, and also AutoCAD 2.62 natively supports the card. There are supposedly Windows 2.x drivers, but no one seems to have them. Only the Windows 1.x drivers work in emulation, but the latter could be helpful for you.
