I didn't play so much with EISA systems and have question about eisa 3com adapter.
When I run 3c5x9cfg then can't find the card 3c579-TP.
Is card defective or some kind of EISA configuration is needed?
Yes, you need to run the motherboard-specific EISA Configuration Utility.
It's supposed to detect the new card, and ask for the 3Com diskette with the appropriate .CFG file, eg. !TCM5092.CFG
