I am not sure what kind of internet Virtual Pool uses. I use LAN. whenever I transmit a multiplayer group, in the status window, it says:

Serial port at 2f8: Write to reserved register, value 0x1, register 2
Serial port at 2f8: Write to reserved register, value 0x0, register 2.

How can I configure DOSBox, so it can emulate that kind of internet to LAN?

Could you post screenshots of the multiplayer menus?

what I mean is that I try to do network play over two computers, but nothing happens as the game tries to send/recieve data.
-Both computers have Local Area Network on.
-In the config file of DOSBox, I set both computers the option "Enable ipx over UDP/IP emulation" on.

This is not enough. You have to use ipxnet startserver and ipxnet connect too. There is a multiplayer guide here in the DOSBox guides forum.

(I hope "Local Area Network" means IPX...)

I put "ipxnet connect ip address", but it always fails.

Local Area Network does mean IPX
