Hello
I need advice to remove later installed heat sink from video card.
I have a radeon card with zalman heatsinks, but i would to like remove it, without destroy the card.
Thank you any advice.

It’s going to depend on how they are attached.

Thermal tape, then some sticker remover spray (or acetone or even isopropyl alcohol would likely do) and some fishing line to slide under and cut the tape.

Thermal epoxy, then you are going to have to be very careful. Freezing the card may allow for some light pressure under the corner of the heatsink to snap it free (be sure to protect the PCB from any tool damage). But if you need to use more than light pressure then it’s anyones guess if the epoxy or solder is going to give out first.

Those aftermarket coolers usually used double sided thermal tape. Warm the heatsinks up a bit (with a hair dryer) and see if a careful(!) twisting motion moves them.
