Hi guys,
I happen to come across a working Fujitsu Lifebook B142, and what a beaty it is!
Unfortunately I found it without port replicator so my options are basically to dump images onto disk and then to connect it. All seems to be fine aside from audio - I suspect hardware issue since in win98, winNT and openBSD the sound card ES1946S is properly recognized and whatnot. I couldn’t however produce any sounds from speakers aside from very faint PC-speaker emulated beep when 3.5mm headphones were connected on openBSD.
I haven’t fully disassembled the machine however I tried to refer to
https://bbs.sandbox.cz/~covex/hw/b112/index.html and to the Vogons thread: https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?t=93035 to look around however I am kinda out of ideas.
Does anyone of you have any idea and/or could point me what should I try next ?
