The DOS version of the seventh guest saved games are 291 bytes bigger than the win95 version,1315 vs 1024 and I couldn't find any saved games on the net for DOS.
I had to make my own attic level save game with a hex editor,I saw the pattern of ascii 1's and tried that 1st then the H's.You have to match the pattern of both 1's and H's like in the win95 version, then you can get into the attic to solve the last puzzle.
Also, the 1st bytes of the 1st line are the name of the file in ascii -10,as an example ATTIC in ascii is 41 54 54 49 43
but shows up on line 1 as 31 44 44 39 33.
You can load the DOS saved games in the win95 version and play, but not vice-versa.
The game actually fits on 1 cd,you can put both discs on 1 cd and play the DOS version totally.
The win95 version burps and keeps asking for disc 2.
