Hello everybody,
This Is my very first thread here 😀
I've bought an old Olivetti PCS D4/100 n - basically It's a very compact desktop based on 486 dx4 100mhz , ISA/PCI OPTI Chipset. The only available info online Is the manual (which is gold).
But some specs are missing: motherboard has integrated Trident TVGA9440AGi with 1Mb vram - It's possible to expand it to 2MBs. The expansion slot looks like as an IDE connector. Do you ever seen something like this? What should I look for in case I would expand it?
Then, besides the VGA vram expansion (and
a Little OT) this Socket3 mainboard have L2 Cache type COASt (256Kb), where could I find It? (Pentium 1 COASt are physically incompatibile). The current Cache module sometimes works and sometimes freeze the system - without It the machine works stable.
I drop some pic!
Thanks in advance to all the lads here, this is a great community 😀
Cheers!
