Hi Guys.
I have problem with my IBM ps/2 model 30 386.
I managed to find Kingston 386now for ps/2. Unfortunately it is for the 50/60 model with PGA socket. I have found adapter PGA/PLCC on french eBay for fair price. And It works.
System boots and the software recognizes the 386 25 MHz processor with a math co-processor.
Problem is with temps. I don't have a proper thermometer, but all the chips are very hot to the touch.
Your thoughts? Faulty board? Adapter? Compatibility issue?
