Hi everybody!
I have an LCD screen with 1280x1024 resulution. It would be great if I could play SVGA (640x480) games (Larry 7 etc.) with one of the advanced 2x scalers. However, I can't get these scalers to work on any game with a higher native resolution than VGA!
Is there any way to enable scalers for SVGA games?
use ykwnong builds that has the force scaler option.

advmame2x may work like normal2x in high resolution with a parameter -forcescaler.

I tried out the 04/10/2007 build with GUI. Using -forcescaler, I could get TV2x, Scan2x, and RGB2x to work. However, all the "interesting" scalers just resulted in a nearest pixel resize. Any hints?
Use my build, set output to direct3d and try the new hq2x.fx pixelshader (make sure the scaler= is set to none) 😀
