Hi guys,
I've got a problem with the resolution in dosbox. I've downloaded the new nvidia driver 258.96(I've got the same problem with drivers younger then 176...) and when I run dosbox I've got a relativly small output. Before I used configurations like scaler=normal3x and a resolution of 960x600 to get fullscreen in my games. I tried out every output method, resolution and scalersettings but nothing will work. I've downloaded the dosbox faq from this link: DosBox FAQ but it didn't help me. Any help would be great.

I'm using a NVidia GeForce 7600 GT with the driver you can read above and a Fujitsu Siemens P15-1 TFT (which forced me to set scalers on way back...).
The Dosbox versions are from 0.70 to 0.74.

Thank you.

I had the same problem but my video card is a nvidia gt 220 and the new driver 258 doesnt work right for some reason, so what i did? i went back and use driver 197 and no problem ever since, so give it a try and see if it works for you.

Thank you for your reply 😀
Well, after two days I decided to use an XFX driver. With this I got good resolution with some settings in the config file.

Now Doom is really fun again! 😁

Best
Vince

For playing Doom on a modern PC, I'd recommend checking out the available source ports. A lot of them use hardware accelerated 3D graphics and support mouselook.
