Has there been any progress towards allowing button combinations involving the Alt key? like Alt F1, Alt F2 etc.

They don't seem to do anything in The Settlers 2: Gold Edition (When the winter cheat is active). You use these combinations to adjust the speed of the game once the cheat mode is active, otherwise your limited to only normal and 2x speed 😒
