Howdy. This is probably a remarkably simple question, but I looked at the guides and used the search a bit and I had no luck at all.

I've got DOSBox 0.65 for Mac OS X on my machine, and I'm trying to run either or both of the games in the title. I figured out how to mount disks just fine and I can get to the directory I've got the .exe files in, but when I actually type the name of the program as shown by "dir" to run it, it says:
"This program cannot be run in DOS mode."

However, both games say they're supported on the main DOS Box website. What's up?

I know those are DOS games but I don't know if there are Windows versions of those games. You could try running them under VPC/Qemu in Windows and see if they work.

Usually you only see that message when it is a Windows executable file that you are trying to run in DOS. The Neuromancer game I remember was released in 1988 by Interplay, years before there were any Windows games. The executable file was Neuro.exe.

Hey,
so I'm having some problems running Circuit's Edge, as well. When I start EDGE.EXE I get a screen saying it'll run with VGA/MCGA graphics, a Microsoft Mouse, hard drive, one 3.5" floppy (A) and Roland MT-32 for audio. When I select 1, for "Use these settings", I get a black screen and no progress.

What gives? The game is listed as "supported" on the DOSBox website.

2. please try reinstalling from your original media the game came from, following the 60 seconds guide.
