I can't seem to get Quarantine to work. If I use command prompt on my $40 flea market PC, it runs too fast. If I run it on Dos Box on my PC, it's too slow. If I use Dos Box on my Mac and run Quarantine, it's also too slow. It appears to be too big for the 486 emulation but too small for the P2.

I thought I was only going to use this forum once.

1. Download DosBox 0.65
2. Open DosBox.conf with a text editor.
3. Change core=normal to core=dynamic
4. Change cycles=3000 to cycles=auto.
5. Done.

You should start by making a DOSBox stuff folder inside your Documents folder ("/Users/your-login-name/Documents/DOSBox stuff").

Next, start DOSBox and ask it to create a configuration file in the DOSBox stuff folder:

Z:\>config -writeconf "/Users/your-login-name/Documents/DOSBox stuff/dosbox.conf"

Open dosbox.conf with the simplest editor you have on your Mac, and change the CPU cycles from the default 3000 to say 6123. Copy dosbox.conf to "/Users/your-login-name/dosbox.conf" and start DOSBox.

Does it show "Cpu Cycles: 6123" in the window title?
