im a noob to dosbox, but wanted to run dinotopia, dosbox is set to the default configuration i have a pentium 3 processor(750), run windows 98,
every time i try and run the game the below error pops up: the supporting scren to Dosbox says illigal read illigal write so fast i can barely read it.
i can barely read code so that makes no sence to me.
any suggestions?

it works with the latesd dosbox cvs:
CVS Builds (once a week)
and it runs properly in dosbox 0.61 too
just run setsound and set it correctly!
i tried to setsound correctly, but it cant detect any digital sound driver (you only have 1-2 choices) and it wont let me run without a digital sound driver.
should i try the manual config for a sound driver or leave it with the defalt settings at installation? will it matter since Dosbox will emulate it anyway?
if you press the arrow up key you should have more choices
