Hi.

I have a p4 laptop designed for windows XP, but I use windows 98SE on it.

But no matter what I tried I could not get sound working on it.

I hope for using usb sound card now, but I am not sure.

Has anyone tried usb sound card on win98se?

How does it work? Just plug it in and it will install driver then work, or how?

What I need to do to make it work.

I would like to know your experience before I buy anything.

Most cheap USB sound cards are USB AUDIO CLASS 1.0 compliant and can use generic operating system drivers.

See below for some Windows 98 SE specific info
