Another VOGONS user requested close up photos of my Tualatin interposer. I purchased this several years ago pre-installed and working, so this is exactly how it is supposed to be. I have two of these, and they have been applied identically.

I have annotated one photo with blue arrows that identify pins that have been broken off on purpose. The pin at the top is simply missing (confirmed on both processers I have), with the two on the bottom missing, but with the pad soldered over. Those two bottom pins may actually be trimmed flush with the PCB and have contact with the solder, or missing entirely. I don't know this was installed.

I did my best to photograph this from several angles, as it is both highly reflective and very hard to focus on with the camera in my phone. I also tried to take a photo of it under my microscope, but I don't know if that helped with the clarity.

All of the half-circle marked holes are soldered to the pin that passes through them. There are several holes which are plated on the top but are NOT soldered; all of these are missing the half-circle indicator.

I tried to upload high resolution photos (under 2MB), but the forum recompresses them automatically.

Thanks very much! I will compare my end result to yours and post pics of my own in the near future.
