Got this machine from my work place which served as a test bench computer wired to some lab equipment using some exotic ISA cards which the work place kept.
But I got everything else!

This PC came with: Intel 430TX, Pentium MMX 233Mhz, 128mb PC100 (2x64mb) SDRAM, Cirrus Logic 5446 2mb, Network card, DVD-Rom, 20GB HDD, and an LG Flatron F700B monitor in perfect condition.
To complete the hunt I added S3 Virge/DX 4mb, SB16 PnP (CT2950), and Yamaha YMF719, USB Floppy Emulator, all from Ebay.

To install the system with DOS 7.10 I found a 7.10 bootable CD with installation, using Fdisk to partition the 20GB HDD and installed DOS 7.10.
Dos 7.10 came with CD-ROM and Mouse preinstalled.
Next I burned a CD with Norton Commander and DOS USB Drivers!
From there everything was a breeze.

I created Config,sys with 3 menu selections:
1. EMM386 (EMS).
2. UMBPCI (No EMS).
3. UMBPCI + USB.

The default boot is to UMBPCI which resulting in 628KB (643,360) free conventional memory with everything loaded.

The biggest struggle was to find the Headers pinouts for the DIY PS/2 connector and USB headers.
I figured my motherboard is by PC-Partner model 35-8333-01 and downloaded the manual and all pinouts and jumper information I need.

Is this still your primary gaming box? What changes have you made? What parts tend to stay inside of it most of the time? What years are you covering with this box? What about speed sensitive games? I am truly contemplating getting rid of my Super Socket 7 stuff and going back to more of a purist Socket 7 with Pentium MMX. Does disabling L1 and L2 get you pretty much everything you need? Do you change CPU speed manually or do you just leave it set to one speed and if so, what speed?

I only had a couple question for you 😀

I think that's one of the few cases that looks fine with black optical drives / floppy. How is the monitor btw? I am not sure if it's aperture grille and worth keeping? What is the highest refresh rate you can go on this monitor/system?
