Hi all.... (A little teaser for everyone)
I am currently investigating the possibility, to add negative 5 volt to an ATX psu, discussing this with Keropi at the moment.
Currently, we have looked into a couple of possible solutions. The one I am going by at the moment, is in the picture posted.
The motivation is to be able to use the homemade device in conjunction with something like a modern 500watt PSU.
(Look at the idea/buildingplan for it, like an early 2016 X-Mass gift for everyone)
I will not say what it is just yet. Though the plan is to provide everyone with a building plan, if this is a succes in the end.
Untill now, I have spent a total of 0.99 US Dollars. The total price for a DIY project will be a little higher.
Right now it is jumping from -5.12v to -5.18v wich is not bad, compared to a voltage monitor, found in an ATX board BIOS.
Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....
