For sale in an unknown condition, seller names it Aztech Nova 16 ExtraII-3D (CS4231).

Could it be an Aztech model that provides Covox and DSS emulation?

think it's just another variant of their mmpro ii - see here, third picture is almost the same just some slightly different component placements.

the aztechs with dss and covox are mentioned here:

Need help again... I've got this soundcard:

I can't find anything like that at stason.org or elsewhere. What is it, where can I find drivers for it?

It appears to be an SC16-3D. There's Win95/98 and what looks to be the DOS utilities in the package here. (Be careful, it comes with some sort of sketchy driver updater program in the archive, probably don't want to run that.)

Also I see some indications, though I don't know if they're accurate or not, that the AZT2380 is just a rebranded ADI1816 chip... so you might be able to use drivers for that.

Yes, it is recognized by PnP BIOS as AD1816A, and Win98SE automatically installs AD1816 WDM drivers for it. But the drivers won't work 'for an unknown reason'. SC16-3D drivers won't install either; same with AD1816 VxD drivers. The only way I made it work in Win98 is installing generic AZT2320-compatible drivers; but then I get no any sound in DOS mode.
