It's 0.5m, but it's ok I believe (well, I purchased 2 of the same length in the past)

as said before, ~0.8m VGA extension or passive splitter would be sufficient, but beware of cheap cables as they does not have proper shielding or have major flaws in pinout, resulting in missing DDC functions or blurry picture with "ghosty" trails 😀.

The problem is finding a high quality short one in my experience. I've seen a number of short ones that create those VGA artifacts (like doubling of edges, etc).

Using this one atm, quality is pretty good. Only problem is you have to remove those screw-in pins and the metal part is going to get bent a bit.

The Underdog - The budget K6
The Voodoo powerhouse - The power-hungry K7
The troll PC - The Socket 423 Pentium 4

I'm using a Monoprice cable, this one I think:
http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=102&cp_ … &seq=1&format=2

My Voodoo2 isn't in the next slot down from my 2D card (its actually 3 slots down), so the length really isn't that bad. I've had no problems with image quality - 1080p60 passes just fine from the 2D card, as does 1024x768 at 100Hz. The slim connectors also made it nice for keeping "bulk" off the cards - when I originally tested out my V2 I was using a 6ft extension. That cable worked fine too, but it was heavy, and even with the card mounted in a case and bolted in, it would "sag" somewhat. So going with lighter cables was an objective. I'm sure the 6" 3dfx cable is also light enough too.
