I hope I write in the right section. I bought this controller from ebay. I read somewhere that in order to have better speeds you need a driver to enable the features of the controller. The thing is by searching I found datasheets of the chips on the controller but I haven't found any driver for DOS or Windows 3.11. Can anyone help me?

I have a driver disk for this card that came with my 486. I could send you a disk image, or I could upload it to this forum if that's possible.

I have about the same VLB card but by QDI. Bunch of drivers here: http://files.mpoli.fi/hardware/HDD/OTHER/

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor.

I would appreciate that. How could we do this?

digistorm: If it is less than 2Mb (zipped) you can attach it to a reply here in this thread.

I put them in a zip file, then they don't take up that much space. There is also a paper manual with it, I don't have a scan at the moment, but if you need it I can scan it tomorrow.

Great ! Thank you. Am saving it to my driver library 😁

Me too, there is always a backup from my side. Thanks for sharing. I put all the collected files on my NAS. Because google is drying up on information and drivers.

~ At least it can do black and white~

Here is the manual. It's a folded piece of paper, so the scan may look a bit weird, but I think you'll figure it out 😊
