I don't see a source anywhere for that. Is it a closed project or can the gerber files be downloaded somewhere?

Closed for now. But he is a nice guy which has released some of his designs as OSS. Hopefully he would release this one once he gets back his investment on R&D, because would be useful to make these for boot and system volumes.

Yeh, that's why is a good idea to have an index of gold projects as sticky, like the present one.

I don't think you understood me.

I meant, that if you have an index of gold projects as a sticky topic (like this one), and all the other topics people want stickied that aren't about projects like this, that VOGONS already has so many topics worth making sticky that Marvin -> General Old Hardware would have its first 25 topics (the first page) all sticky at least.

You could make a topic of the topics worth making sticky, but eventually it's just nested too deep. 😉

Awesome thread... didn't see mention of this yet... https://github.com/reesclissold/pc-sprint

TubeTime / Schlae has just released his Graphics Gremlin card on GitHub.

https://github.com/schlae/graphics-gremlin.

https://mobile.twitter.com/TubeTimeUS/s ... 193287680

It's an FPGA based MDA / CGA and NTSC CGA composite video card that aims to emulate the original IBM cards. The MDA and CGA are output through a VGA connector and work at 31kHz so no special monitor is needed (CGA composite is still through composite connector).

Nice, the FPGA is quite cheap, but not in stock now anywhere (as most of specialized ICs today, sigh)...

Made another project -- a little PCB to put in-line with a ATX-to-AT adapter to generate the -5V needed by some hardware.

Adalbert -- please add to the list for my projects in the 1st post of the thread when you get a chance. 😀

and you really need a PCB for this ? hey 😉
Just solder the Capacitors directly on top of the Legs. 0805 or 1206 will fit very good.
Some shrink tubing and here you go 😁

Rasteri's 'weecee' computer with integrated CS4237B-KQ sound chip and waveblaster header (a S2 Dreamblaster can fit) based on the Vortex86DX system-on-module with schematics and pcb design in altium circuitmaker:

my own fork of the same project with minor cosmetic edits, better eeprom and lengthy description, links to externally needed parts and some warning, which proved it worked because I did it from A to Z:

Cute, I was thinking about that just a day or two ago, "Why come no titchy little ROM card for IDE or etc, can maybe get 2 or 3 of them on one of those 100mm square cheap PCBs.."
