May be related to partition setup - check this old thread Reinstalling W95 on Omnibook 600CT

HP did provide an OmniBook 600C and 600CT BIOS and Driver Update for Windows 95, which you can still download here https://driverscollection.com/?file_cid=44758 … 73e352cd4c4303d though not sure this expanded utility package will run from anything other than a floppy!

Quite useful and I found the floppy image. Try to get it work on the cf card.

A virtual machine running dos6.22 by using fdisk.

Next step I will try to create the partition on my TP750c.I will use cf card to pcmcia then connect it to my TP which is running dos6.22. Then insert the diskette mentioned in Omnibook.info.I will try my best to get the little Omnibook back to life.

I noticed they use OBfdisk rather than fdisk.

Update：No IO errors now but it stuck here…any advice？（USB- HDDmethod and USB-ZIP method get the same result..）

Finally I got it.Use the images in the Omnibook.info and then go to the virtual machine to load the floppy diskettes then recover it.When it was done,plug the cf to cf to pcmcia card.Insert it into TP750C,type sys D:.Then it can boot.
