Happy new year. I had a quiet one of those, as I spend it with my children and their mother plus her mother.
I cooked some of the food and made the desert. No fireworks and I was home again 15 minutes before midnight.
We had tuna mouse with bread, shrimps and crayfish tails. (My recepie)
Then a kind of tenderloin cream-stew with bacon and rice. (my childrens mother made that)
Finally a baked chokolate mose with frozen chokolate mouse on top. (My recepie)
We had champagne during the queens new years Speech and what was left in the bottle we had for fish.
My daughter, though she is 13, was alowed to zip one drop, and we had her explain how she percieved the taste with fish.
I believe it is important for her to know the taste, but not have more than gives the taste. So half a teaspoon is ok I think.
The rest of the dinner, the children had soft drinks and the adults had good dark beer from a micro brew.
I went to bed at 2 in the morning, after a cup of coffee and a beer to say hello to 2022 and remember 2021 in peace.
Also I had to calm down the rabbit, as it was frightened by the fireworks at midnight.
Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....
