Has anyone here seen any USB 2.0 driver development for Windows 3.1?
Or a port of the 95B USB architecture to Windows 3.1?

This would allow adding cheap generic USB audio devices, USB mouse, and USB keyboard, and USB joysticks.

More importantly is the USB audio devices working in Windows 3.1 would be a reality allowing something like DOSBOX or MUNT to use the USB sound device.

While you're at it, why don't you ask if someone ported all the driver stacks of Windows 10 back to 3.1.

Each of these (storage, audio, mouse/keyboard, joystick) actually requires separate driver class support, in addition to the bus support.

And what do you mean about DOSBOX/MUNT? Running them on top of Windows 3.1? Because running Windows 3.1 inside DOSBOX on a modern OS allows pass through to USB audio device.

If you need Wave Audio for Windows 3.1 just use a Covox DAC.
I assume your device has no legacy audio, but does it have a LPT Port ?

i can build you one if needed, for cheap.

USB Mouse and Keyboard already works via BIOS Legacy Emulation. Also on proper Implentation its possible to use USB FDD on DOS/Win 3.x
At least on my Board i can load PS/2 Drivers for the USB connected Mouse.

That snap shot of that LCD is just magnificent!
I remember playing GnuChess on such a laptop's screen in the early-mide 90s. ^^
To me that's the solid-state equivalent of a green monitors.

@95DosBox I like these ideas of you. As of now, there are (or rather were) some DOS drivers for USB mass storage.
They may also work inside Windows. Only downside is that they aren't hot-swappable and require quite some memory.
Also USB 2 is getting old in itself already, which worries me a bit. I'd rather like to see USB 3 support for Win 9x,
since current USB controllers seem to give up on legacy blocks for USB 1.x/2.x (they let USB hubs do the job of
keeping compatibility on the peripheral device side).

Edit: (Simple) USB mice drivers for DOS also exist, at least.
