Hi guys, I've searched the net for info on this card but only a couple of results show up and no info whatsoever of the card. It's an Obsidian Pro, model 650-2200-04, according to the memory chips it seems to have 8mb of memory, but I'm skeptical. Anyone has any idea about it?

There was a Quantum3D Obsidian Pro, sure, but there were many, many models carrying that nameplate.

For starters, comparing the pics of the card you posted with a Voodoo 1 I have (a "no-name" voodoo board), they are pretty much mirror images of each other. Looks like just a 4MB model.

Additional evidence can be found here: http://www.modlabs.net/forum/topic/7870/page__st__1270 (use google translate)

The exact same P/N, people say it's a 4MB. Quantum3D Voodoo PCBs are usually black in color, too.

Here's more info on the better, way crazier Obsidian boards: http://www.thedodgegarage.com/3dfx/q3d_obsidian.htm

Looks like a pretty standard Voodoo 1 to me. Certainly 4 MB, as 8 MB was maximum and there is unpopulated space for another 8 RAM chips on the back.

Best way to find out is to simply test it. But that card is not for the Mac (not that it matters, it would work in a Mac anyway).

@Am386DX-40:
Is that picture of your card, actually? If so, I guess it's not working. There are burnt spots and other things that don't look right.
