Curses 16v 1000u is my only weakness!
Tho on this ES it looks like a 16v 470u, wich means I'm in buisness again!

Well no dice.
Mobo post beeps but no monitor signal.
Card has been "repaired" by some previous owner tho so I guess its time to redo all that.
Or maby just bin it.
Dunno if its worth spending a lot of time on, even if it seems to be a somewhat rare card.

That's odd, if there was a problem i don't think that it would post. Since it does then i think that it is a good thing. Does the motherboard boot from an internal video card? You can try all the outputs to see if you can get a picture.

I have many faulty video cards that just show a black screen but do not block the system from booting otherwise. That's not really odd.
Anyway, first check both VGA and DVI. Maybe it's only sending a signal to one of the two.
